Off to Church

We have church at 1:15 pm...so lots of time in the morning to do things. It's really going to be hard in the winter time getting out when it is dark and cold...agh. Why can't the southern winds just shift and give us some of that blessed Arizona air?? Soon enough my friend, soon enough.

The date went great last night, we had a lot of fun. We did this date book...I'll explain. Basically some of the guys made this up in one boring Elder's quorum meeting a few years ago. It's based on themes. Here's how it goes down: the girls get the book and it says some funny thing about how they have been selected from a choice group of women to participate in tonight's once in a lifetime date, unless of course we ask you out again. They have 5 minutes (give or take 5) in which they do this, first choosing a theme - italian, french, wild west, greek, etc.... Next it has a list of possible restaurants linking to the theme and they also get to pick from a list of activities that coorespond to the theme, ie: shoot guns for wild west, etc.... It's a choose your own adventure!! The girls get to pick what THEY want to do...BRILLIANT!! It's actually a lot of fun because we have no idea what we are going to be doing and everyone has to scramble to make it happen! So last night we did Macaoroni Grill and Bocci Ball based on the italian theme. We had a blast and Maria was a lot of fun to go with, sorry - no pics. :( I totally forgot my camera, I had it charged and ready to go too. Anyway, things are good but I've got to get ready for Hometeaching. Peace!
